Yoruba lady cries out as Tinubu Supporters call Her Omo Igbo, Ask her to go back to Igbo land and Protest

Nigerians yesterday took to the streets across the country to protest against hardship, hunger which caused by bad governance.

The protest which took over the country, met zero compliance in the South East as people decided to stay rather than hitting the streets.

However, the results were expected following the history of protests and how the people of South-East region have been used as an escape goat every time protest was held across the country.

In what could be similar narrative, a Yoruba lady, Funmilayo, who joined the Nationwide hunger protest in Ojota, Lagos State was asked to go back to South East and protest.

Mistaken for being Igbo, the supporters of President Bola Tinubu, in Lagos, asked her (Funmilayo) to go and protest in the East.

“…you, omo Igbo, what do you come here to do, you came to Yoruba land to protest, go back to Igbo land and Protest”, the anti-protesters told the lady.

“Even if I’m an Igbo person, am I not a Nigerian” the lady quipped.
