Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, representing Abia North Senatorial district has been described as the most security conscious Senator in South-East region by the Police Community Relations Committee Chairman, Abia State Command, Chief Iheanyi Igboañulam.
Kalu, an eminent businessman and former Abia State governor earned the tag following the donation of patrol vans he donated to Abia State Police Command.
Daily9jaInfo recalled that Senator Kalu procured and donated Toyota Hilux Vans to Isuikwuato Area Command, Ohafia Area Command, Igbere division, 14 Bridage, Ohafia and Igbere division etc.
Chief Igboañulam, who made the declaration in Isuikwuato, during his Statewide tour of all the Area Commands and Divisions in the State, urged other politicians in elective positions and good spirited memembers of the public to emulate Senator Orji Uzor Kalu’s spirit
The PCRC State Chairman maintained that his visit to the Area Command was to familiarize with his PCRC family in the area, and to have on the spot assessment of their progress and challenges in their bid to assist the Police. He reiterated his mission statement of “operation one Area Command/division, one project”.
He was received by The Area Commander, Isuikwuato Area Command, ACP Imo and HRM Eze Ndubuisi Alata.
