- As The Commission Says He Is NOT Labour Party Chairman
In a not so shocking event today, the Quarterly Consultative Meeting at INEC office was abruptly disrupted when Julius Abure engaged in a heated confrontation after being walked out of the meeting and publicly embarrassed and escorted out of the building.
After several pleas for him to leave which proved abortive the commission was left with no other choice than to use the securities to throw him out of the meeting and out of the building.

The meeting went ahead at the INEC Conference Room in Abuja today Monday, July 29th, 2024 after Julius Abure and his self appointed Secretary Umar Farouk were thrown out of the building as they were told they were not sent invites for the meeting because Labour Party does not have any LEGAL National Working Committee until a Convention is done, as his tenure has elapsed.
The disagreements quickly escalated, culminating in a dramatic moment where Abure was forcefully escorted out of the premises as the security requested for his invite but he had none.
Other attendees and Party Chairmen were irritated as to why he would attend the meeting, when he was not invited.
The Commission stated Julius Abure was not invited to the meeting as he his no longer his Party Leader, and LP was not sent an invite because there is no National Working Committee of the Party until a convention is held.
However, Abure tried to smuggle himself into the meeting, in a bid to take photo ops to continue to deceive the public. The media was told he was thrown out because he refused to leave even after several pleas by staff.
