Super Eagles and Ligue 1 club OGC Nice Striker, Terem Moffi, Tuesday, paid a courtesy visit to the Abuja home of Senator Orji Kalu.
The former Abia State governor, now senator representing Abia North senatorial district, in a social media post noted that Moffi came alongside his team.
Kalu, during his tenure as Abia State governor was awarded “African Pillar Of Sports” following the huge success of Enyimba Football club of Aba recorded under his administration.
The two term Abia former governor has been vocal about football and always made known public his interest in sports.
“I encouraged and congratulated him on his successes so far. In my capacity as the African Pillar of Sports he reassured me of the Super Eagle’s resolve to make things right in view of the 2026 World Cup qualification.” Kalu said.
Outside from Terem Moffi, Kalu has received other super Eagles players at his Abuja home, the likes of Leicester City, Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi and host of others.
