Junior Pope, popular Nollywood actor who was drowned in River Niger yesterday has been confirmed dead by the hospital he was rushed to for resuscitation.
The actor alongside other of his colleagues were drowned at the River immediately their boat capsized while trying to cross the Anam River in Anambra State heading to Asaba, Delta State.
Pope was rushed to the hospital and reports has it that he had a pulse, which everyone thought he would have survived but he was later certified dead by the hospital.
The 39 year old actor left behind a young wife and three kids.
