In 2021, Ugandan Politician, Evelyn Anite reportedly took back an ambulance she donated to her district, after losing an election.

That singular act has been condemned by her district and people wondered why she have to take back what she donated to the people.

Justifying her actions, Anite in a post shared on X formerly known as Twitter, confirmed the news as truth and further gave reasons behind her actions.

The news was shared an X account of African Facts Zone, which generated lots of buzz and concerned from Africans.

However, reacting to the post, the politician said, yes, she took back the ambulance she donated to her district and she is not regretting her actions.

She wrote: “…First, it’s true I took back my ambulance & I have no apologies for that. Why did I do it? It’s because they didn’t vote for me. So did you expect me to walkaway with nothing? Galatians 6:7 A man reaps what he sows.”
