An online viral video has showed the moment people lined up to sell their Permanent Voters Card, PVC, in Oforola community in Owerri West LGA, Imo State.
This comes as the State will be going to the ballot on November 11, 2023 – to elect a new governor.
In the video obtained by Daily9ja Info, the people made of elderly and younger ones lined up and received the sum of N1,500 each while submitting their PVC number and their names.
Campaign banner of Senator Hope Uzodinma, the incumbent Imo State governor who seeking reelection in the forthcoming election was spotted in the video.
It should be recalled that this is a new method politicians are using to acquire votes from the electorates, even before an election is being conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
