Former Abia State Deputy Speaker and Hotelier, Cosmos Ndukwe has vowed to lead a Protest against Geometric Power Limited, founder of Aba Power Limited Electric (APLE), a disco supplying power to Aba ring fence.
The former presidential aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, was reacting following constant blackout in the commercial city of Aba and the rate at which the APLE officials go about issuing outrageous monthly electricity bills to customers.
Taken to his verified Facebook page, Ndukwe described Aba Power as the biggest fraud Aba people have ever experienced. He wondered how a company can be heartless by throwing the city into weeks of blackout, yet go about and ask customers to pay for what they never consume.
“BARTH NNAJI should just surrender his GEO-FRAUD back to DISCO that will give ABA light. Companies are folding up daily in ABA”, Dr. Cosmos wrote in his official Facebook page.
He went further to assert that Aba Power’s inability to provide constant electricity has led to many companies folding up in the city of Aba.
He said: “Geometrics is the biggest fraud that Aba people have experienced for this year’s of operation.”
“How can a company be this heartless throwing the city into weeks of darkness, yet collecting payments from residents without buying energy to compliment the city’s energy payments.”
According to him, Prof Barth Nnaji, the founder of Geometric Power Aba is very lucky that Aba of today is no longer the same as Aba of the old.
“He (Barth Nnaji) is luck Aba is no longer Enyimba of old they would have sacked him from aba. But he should not take the resiliency nature of aba now for granted.
“Prof Barth NNAJI, should live up to his promises. It’s fraudulent to keep a city this long without light. Companies are leaving in droves off the commercial city. This is sad.”
Dr. Cosmos also revealed that he will be forced to lead a Protest against Geometric Power in Aba.
“I will wake the Aba spirit and led a protest against GEOMETRICs and their fraudulent practices against people of Aba. Enough is Enough!!!
